Jessica Gentile has more than 12 years of marketing experience. A broad-based marketer, she is well-versed in all areas of the marketing function with a particular emphasis on technology. As Vice President of Marketing Communications for Cook, Jessica is responsible for planning, implementing and managing all marketing programs for the organization, including both corporate and practice-specific initiatives.
Jessica is passionate about technology and throughout her career has regularly collaborated with business and IT teams to effectively deliver technical marketing solutions that align with the organization's larger growth objectives. Her experience includes developing brands through strategic web-based initiatives such as internal knowledge management and collaborative portals, communities and social networking sites, transactional sites delivering executive recruiting "matchmaking" as well as corporate websites and client extranets/portals.
Jessica joined Cook from Heidrick & Struggles, an international executive search and leadership advisory firm where she was a core member of the firm’s global marketing team for more than five years. She was responsible for digital and online strategy development and execution; corporate development, strategic partnerships and online ventures; as well as search execution and process efficiencies.
Prior to entering the search industry, Jessica spent five years in the technology industry, serving as a key member of the marketing group for California-based enterprise content management company Documentum, Inc. Documentum was later acquired by EMC Corporation.
Jessica began her career with First Energy Services in Akron, Ohio at the height of energy deregulation in the state.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Political Science and History from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania.
