Raya Pachevurova is the Vice President of Information Technology with Cook Associates, Inc., and is based in the firm's Chicago headquarters. She has overall responsibility for managing the IT, telecommunications and support desk functions, as well as vendor relationships with technical service providers.
Raya joined the company in October 2007 to support the IT team by managing the support desk and optimizing Cook's new CRM database. Her ability to communicate effectively, combined with her technical background, has bridged the gap between IT and non-IT functions, enabling Cook to provide innovative solutions to employees. Raya began her career in the multimedia and entertainment industry, as a Managing Partner for an international animation company. Prior to joining Cook, she was a Senior Consultant with P&P Bulgaria, an affiliation of InterSearch, where she was in charge of vendor management, the recruitment and successful implementation and certification of ISO 9001-2000. Amongst her clients were Intel, EMC, Xerox, and Kraft Foods.
Raya received her engineering degree from Technical University of Sofia and holds a Master of Science in Computer Systems.
In her leisure time, Raya enjoys skiing, swimming and exploring new bike trails.
