Eric Gustafson is a Managing Director and EVP with Cook Associates, Inc. Executive Search. Co-located in New York and Stamford, Eric's areas of focus include subsidiary and divisional general management and first and second level functions reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. Clients include private businesses, private equity portfolio investments, public companies, and the Americas operations of European and Asian multi-nationals.
Previously, Eric was Senior Partner/Managing Director in the New York and Stamford offices of Korn/Ferry International. Prior to executive search, he was President and director of a privately held technology products and services company. His career began at a Fortune 40 company in headquarters human resources and sales/marketing.
Eric holds a degree in Economics with concentrations in accounting and sociology from Lafayette College, Easton, PA where he also played Division I basketball. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Wilton, Connecticut.
