Scott is a Vice President with Cook Associates M&A Advisory Services. His responsibilities include advising private business owners who are seeking private-equity solutions to maximize personal wealth creation, and assisting in the procurement and processes leading to completed transactions.
Earlier in his career with Cook M&A, Scott was a Financial Analyst responsible for analyzing financial statements, modeling, and researching economic conditions and industry forecasts.
His M&A experience includes serving as an Associate with Lake Capital, a private equity firm focused on middle market service-based companies. In this role, he provided research and market intelligence to the internal deal origination team as well as portfolio company leadership.
During his tenure with Lake Capital, Scott uncovered an opportunity to provide niche outsourced services to the private equity community and founded Windchain, LLC, a private equity research firm. Managing the complete life cycle of each client engagement, Scott provided thoroughly researched market reports and provided deal origination services to private equity firms on a retainer model.
Earning both a BBA, General Business and MBA from Stetson University, Scott was recognized as a Florida Academic Scholar and was the national Sergeant at Arms, Philanthropy Chair of Delta Sigma Phi.
